Line Cook/Prep Cook

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in accordance with our menu and food safety standards. This is a fast-paced and dynamic role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.

Responsibilities: - Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices - Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff - Follow recipes and presentation specifications to ensure consistency and quality - Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies - Clean up station and take care of leftover food - Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations - Assist with menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes - Collaborate with the catering team to fulfill special orders or dietary requirements.

Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Line Cook/Prep Cook or similar role - Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques - Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Excellent communication and teamwork skills - Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
